All things Apprenticeships at Precast 2018
23rd May 2018
After attending the MPA British Precast event on Thursday 17th May at Silverstone Circuit, the largest UK event of its kind, Mentor are excited to share that we had a great day showcasing our expertise and knowledge in the apprenticeship field following a very successful year for Mentor that shows growth since last year's annual Precast exhibition.
Tracy Colton, Head of Apprenticeships at Mentor, was on hand to offer information about accessing training, apprenticeships and how they are funded, what competence is, why it is important and how it can be achieved and assessed through apprenticeship standards and VQs.
She delivered an exciting and engaging presentation that was well received by the audience. Providing an insight into competence, Tracy discussed how important it is along with the current and upcoming VQs and apprenticeships available to the Precast sector, the key facts about funding an apprenticeship and the process of developing trailblazer standards if there is a gap in the market for a particular operational role.
As well as numerous seminars on offer throughout the day, visitors were also able to network with a range of companies within the precast industry and find out about all the latest products and services on offer.
We had a great time attending the British Precast exhibition this year and are eager to see what the next year has in store for us.
